Has anyone done any tuning on their car, such as remap, exhaust or other mods to raise the engine performance. I know that most cars come from the factory with aweful tunning. Most cars come off the line with very conservative tunning. If so please post results, thanks.

 

Awful tuning? Do you mean "detuned" for fuel efficiency and emissions? The IS-F engine is detuned, yes, but Lexus had no choice if the car was to avoid the gas guzzler tax and meet ULEVII emissions. I think they've done quite well. Unfortunately Lexus and Toyota have had no aftermarket support for chips. It's not the aftermarket's fault. Toyota/Lexus' computers are not open code. The programs (maps) are very proprietary.
