Default Winter tires / wheels?

Anybody order winter tires and wheels for their IS-F? I was quoted 3k by the dealer, OUCH!

I have my blizzaks from my IS350, but my service advisor tells me that it's probable that they won't work on the IS-F, due to the fact that the 18" wheels might not fit over the breaks.

I had the dealer put my snow tires on my IS350 wheels and then swap them out for the summer tires, so they are the same size as the OEM tires.

If anybody has any info on whether or not IS350 wheels will fit on the IS-F I'd greatly appreciate it.

congrads on the car! I do think the brakes are larger on the F then our 350. I am surprised the dealer wont look into it. and for 3k i would just put snow tires on the factory rims and get summer rims and tires for your car for that money!

If a certain someone allows me too...

I would test fit my IS350 wheel on the IS-F and the IS-F wheel on my IS350.

:-)

I only have the tires, I never purchased wheels. They are looking into it, I don't think they know. I asked them if the car came w/ Synthetic Oil, they didn't know either.

I assume it doesn't, but I'll start it w/ the synthetic for the 1000 mile / 30 day service

It would funny if the IS-F wheels got stuck on your car and couldn't come off!

They don't do an oil change at the 1000 mile / 30 day service.

My bad. I saw 30 day service and assumed it included an oil change...

I purchased a set of 18" wheels for the ISF and will use the two rear 18" blizzaks from my IS350. I'm getting them on Thursday and will post photos, price paid, etc.. at that time.

Default Winter wheels installed on ISF

Ok, here we go. I got new wheels for my ISF along with the Blizzak LM-25 (225/45 18) tires.

Two of the tires were from the rear of the IS350 and I purchased two new ones. They were installed on Vogue (AKITA-AK3) wheels. I paid a LOT for this, but Lexus will store the other set for me and mount them twice a year, no charge, for as long as I own the car... $2500 installed.. so I don't mind... The price includes 4 new TPMS of course.

Here's one photo taken from my cell phone, more coming later:

Wow.. 1st IS-F with a winter wheel set up!!

So you went with 225/45/18 on all four corners???

What size are the wheels??

Side Question
How come you didn't choose a set of 18x8 or 18x8.5 Lexus wheels??
maybe even a set of take offs... just a thought..

Lexus tried the rear wheels from my IS350 and I was told that there wasn't enough cleareance between the brakes and the wheels on the front to use them. The Vogue wheels worked. They are the Vogue Akita-AK3's and their size is 18 x 7.5. Their offset is +40mm and the center bore is 72.62 mm.

I don't actually know what offset & center bore means, but I figure it's pretty important...

Hope that's helpful.

Default More photos

Here are some more photos of the new tires/wheels.

I'm getting ready to go play in the snow, I'll let you know how it goes... There's only about an inch of snow so... it's not that big of a test...
