After further investigation of the availability of the "Redrock" interior for the ISF, it has become clear that the Redrock interior color is nothing more than false information.

Inventory Managers at the port in Jacksonville, Florida confirm that Redrock does not exist.

Also, the letter below, dated Jan. 28, 2008, Written by Cynthia Tenhouse, Vehicle Supply Manager, Southern Area, and sent to dealerships to prepare for the arrival of the ISF Confirms the only two colors for the ISF interior, Black or White.

Further calls to TMS in Torrance, California, confirm that "Redrock" is an "unheard of" color for the ISF. When It was mentioned that there was proof of a Redrock interior in the inventory detail in Dealer Daily, The only reasonable explanation was "it must be an error in the Inventory Detail"

Interior color LB21 has been confirmed as "Black"

Further, the 2008 ISF parts catalogs have been released to dealerships, which means, the final exterior and interior color combinations have been engraved in stone. The 2008 ISF parts catalog shows no Redrock color, just black, white, and the Special Edition Neiman Marcus colors.(gray)

I know some of you were expecting the Redrock interior color on your ISF and I'm sorry to say, it's not going to happen, at least not for 2008.

 

Thanks for the update. I wanted to believe Red Rock was viable but it just seemed like such a last second decision that Lexus wouldn't do.

Maybe Lexus will see that there's some interest in this color and offer it next model year.
