Maximum you would pay for "base" IS-F
PLEASE ONLY VOTE IN THIS POLL IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING AN IS-F.
Now that we know more details about the IS-F, I thought it would be a good time to start a poll regarding the maximum amount you would would pay for a "base, no option" IS-F. I know it will be difficult to find a base model, but it makes the numbers in the poll more meaningful.
We all know the options (from the lexus.com/isf site) and they add more to the price, but let's keep the poll simple and not include options in our poll price. Let's also assume that performance is "similar" to that of the BMW M3, as no one knows which one will be the better performer yet.
Forget about how much the Neiman Marcus edition costs and how much the Japanese market will have to pay for theirs. This isn't a poll to guess how much Lexus is going to charge for the car. This poll is to determine how much people will actually be willing to pay for it.

Ugly = priceless!
This car is so ugly, regardless of the superior performance, I would not pay for it. It should be called IS Ricer! I know I will get flamed for this but it seems all the attractive car designs have been "used up" and the only opportunity left to be different is plain ugly. Sorry, my 2 cents worth.

So far there are 33 respondents to the poll. Are/were all 33 actually considering buying an IS-F? The reason I ask, is that some of the responses appear to be of the "bar stool" racer types. I guess I would like to see a poll with people who will actually be voting with their pocket books.
And yes, this will be my new car if the price is within what I deem "of value".

Anyway, price wise, the S5 is probably in range of the IS-F. The other two are/will most likely be priced $10k-$15k more than the IS-F. Besides, I am looking at more than price alone, hence the Lexus.
