Road And Track December issue suggests the IS500 will be $70k, seems a bit steep to me.

wow, for that price, it better beat the M3. That does sound a lot and don't see that going to be the final price.

I think the IS500 sets target as BMW M3, AUDI S4, Benz C55 so it has to be on the high price line...

That's the only thing I think the IS should have in the first place... now the IS 6 speeds gear box doesn't work the way I expected!!

i'll still probably get it as long as that's not the base but the highest price, fully loaded. otherwise, that's getting to be kinda much....

Isn't that like a LS460 starting price?
And pretty close to a Audi RS4?

did they list any hp/tq or any specs? i think i'd rather put an S/C in the 350 and HOPE that they release some of the things they have in Japan for this car (as previously mentioned in another thread, i forgot which one) because i'd rather put in $10K in mods than trade in and pay another $40K+ for an upgrade.
on second thought... maybe i can win the lottery, keep my 350 and buy a 500 for the track =)

My next car is either going to be the IS500 or the GT-R.

It better destroy the new M3....and come with Japanese head at that price....
I'm also hearing the new M3 will little or no price increase over the existing model.

Road and Track knows next to nothing.
70K is insane price for this small lexus. I am sorry, but it's not a Porsche.
