sorry i just dont find that scoop nice at all, maybe if it was in the other direction and looked like the one on the celica and 4-runner, but that, in my opinion is kinda weird looking. but maybe theres something under there that requires alot of air to cool the engine, looks like lexus is offering something awesome

"Too many variants" aren't exactly stopping BMW, MB and Audi from pumping out their upcoming V8-powered M3, C55 and RS4, you know.

The hood vent may helps cool down the Hybrid generator. The RX400h has two radiators, one for the engine and one for the Hybrid. The IS may not has enough room behind the front grill and they have to used the hood vent...just a though.

very good point!

i wonder how they would name the hybrid IS, IS450h?

that'll be pretty awesome if they ever make hybrid for IS.

BTW, the whole car is covered up, nevermind the front. What do you think about the side or the wheels of this car?

I must be missing something.. Why is this car in disguise when the real thing has already been unveiled? Is this a newer version? or maybe the hybrid version as some have suspected?

no, on public road they probably dno't want all people to see the lexus badge and started asking everything

someone has spotted them here in cali road test, and it's all covered up as well.

Totally agree, it's covered so it's hard to really say how it looks in this pic, but at first glance of the front it reminded me of a TL but again it's covered so that means nothing really.

It looks great from the side, I've said it many times, I love this car and will most likely be my next car purchase...fully loaded IS350.
