Default Tyre sizes

Picked up MY10 a few weeks ago, I've got a set of rims that are 19x9.5 et35 square.
Current tyres on them are 245/40,
I'm thinking of taking the 255s from the rear of the stock rims and using those on the front as they're a much better tyre than what currently on the 9.5s.

New to ISFs and don't know too much about fitment so looking for suggestions on tyre sizes for the rear and if the 255s will be fine on the front as well?

cars currently at stock height and also already confirmed they clear the calipers.

It is the resume why they use that size. If you go with other size don't make big different, but make a problem (Rubing, go out faster the joint) it's your car, your choice I just suggest staying with original size. Good luck.

what a pointless reply. if i was interested in keeping the original sizes I wouldn't have posted. I'm very aware of how cars work.

Then don't post, do it. Here, they strive to assist those who need assistance. You don't need.

Contrary to Gugi53's opinion, many of us run 255/35/19 on the front and 275/30/19 or 275/35/19 in the rear. I have these mounted on the late model wheels (8 1/2" & 9 1/2" width) on my car and they work wonderfully.
