2010 IS250 Front Bumper Conversion - Needed in Tampa Florida
Hello, I'm looking for a shop in Tampa Florida, that can make changes to my IS250 convertible. I would like the front bumper and head lights replaced to a updated kit. Also, anyone have an ideal, what will cost??
If you are just looking to do another lexus bumper and depo or vland headlights. I would say do it yourself. It's not hard what-so-ever and you would save money. I know there is a DIY thread on here you can follow to do both.
Hello-
There are a couple of us in Florida that did this conversion. I did most of the prep work myself and let my local dealer complete the final fitment and install. There is a member (Benmunger) that did his before I did mine down here in South Florida. I went to see his in person, which made my decision to do it much easier.
There are a few links on this forum about the 3IS bumper conversion. The 2nd Gen IS forum has a lot of links as well. There were only a few differences in the install for the convertible.
I found my bumper on Ebay from a company in California.
Here is the one I purchased:

I'll be changing mine for the new one soon. My current one is wrapped, no paint or primer, if anyone is interested in purchasing it from me. Pembroke pines FL.
I paid $600 to do the final prep, fit, paint and install. I wish I had done the Vland headlights at the same time because the bumper cover has to come off to change. I didn't want to lose the auto-level feature of the oem headlights so I opted to keep the original-- I need to do the headlight lens restoration though...
Ben, what does the "new" bumper look like? Text me a pic when you can.
