Default navigation damaged

So i have a 2010 250c and I pretty much damaged the screen of the navigation system, the system works fine but the touchscreen doesn't anymore, could I replace just the screen or something? or are there any sites to order a new one? should I just go to lexus dealership?

Thanks!

How is it damaged? Did it just stop working, or did it get smashed in by an angry fist? 😜

If it is is physically damaged, there MAY be some radio repair services available online that can put in a new screen. I wouldn't take it to the Lexus dealer, because the only way they will know how to correct a malfunctioning radio to to put a brand new one in which is going to cost your first born child, and some other internal organs as well.

jokes aside, you could probably get another used one as well, but it may need programming from the dealer to work properly... Maybe someone else can chime in on this?

You can just replace the digitizer yourself. I remember that part of the screen isn't that expensive and plenty of youtube videos on how to do the repair. Part is only $100 on ebay, which is twice as expensive as the 06-09, but still fairly affordable.

Hi Jak,

It is most likely a digitizer causing the failure.

It is about $100 to replace if you DIY.

Here's a YouTube tutorial on the process.

Hope this helps!
