Default Is drilling required to install a windscreen?

I got a used windscreen but it came with 0 instructions. Do I first have to pull out the plastic pieces in the back seat area by the speakers? Or do I drilling into them to mount the windscreen??

you pull them out... then put on factory ones that have a hole pre-drilled into it it's part of the installation kit.

Thank you! Unfortunately my used kit didn't come with anything else apart from the windscreen. Can I just order the ones with the pre dropped hole?

Also, the plastic trim pieces are impossibly tight. I used a 12 inch screw driver as well as a special trim removal tool and I couldn't get the plastic circle to pop out. Should I just put harder? I don't want to damage something.

Not sure who made that video, but that's not how the wind deflector is supposed to be installed.. Those caps should come off (not drilled into) and then a barrel (from the installation kit) gets bolted into a threaded receiver behind it. Not sure where u found this video, but I would think those caps will eventually pop off when the deflector moves around when going over bumps, etc. Or maybe not..

for black interior:
PT933-53100-HR Head rest receiver
PT933-53100-02 Windscreen plug

I just searched ebay, and you can get the plug for $14. The Head Receiver is around $30. So not reasonably priced, but not terrible, either.

Yeah, I would recommend just using the plastic trim removal tool and slowly prying it off from all directions until the plug comes out. It was a challenge for me also, but it will eventually come out once you manage to get something under the edge.
