Does the manual transmission IS C have any issues?
I test drove a Lexus IS 250C equipped with a manual transmission from a dealership today and I totally fell in love with it. However, I read somewhere on the ClubLexus forums that the regular 2nd gen IS 250 manual transmission has transmission issues. Does it also extend to the IS C? Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

The only difference being that the RA62 was updated a couple of times, and as the IS C started for the 2010 model year, they all have the updated transmission. Other than that, it's all the same.
That said, while some people did have some clutch issues, etc., in the past, I think that as these cars get older there have been more issues with the automatic transmission than with the manual (beyond what is "normal" for the manual, which is some additional driveline noise that the automatics never had, and the fact that the clutch/throttle setup in the IS isn't what people are used to if they're coming from other cars like Civics and Corollas).
