I looked at a 2010 with 58K miles, and the side rails that run along the top sides of the shifting console up to the dash, were pitted, scratched and the paint seemed to be going away. I think I saw this in a picture of another that was for sale. Is this common? (I wish I had a picture of it). Of course used car dealer said they all have it and its from the sun. I would hope it could be repainted or maybe plated? This 2010 had two accidents and the VVT recall not done yet, for $17900... Any thoughts?
