Remove rear headrests
It looks like you have to take out the two (2) forward facing bolts to remove
the protective cover and then you will see four (4) nuts for the headrest
bracket. My concern is that the cables that the lower lever pulls to flip
the headrests down may be tough to detach. You will end up with a
less than finished appearance when you are done. Are you trying to
install seat covers were you planning on leaving them off?

Thank you for the help
that’s a bummer
we have two car seats in the back
passenger side one stays down always
driver side one stays up due to height of car seat. Ideally car seat doesn’t sit perfectly in it due to the headrest . Thus removing it would be ideal
i was hoping to leave them off permanently as it provides better visibility top up
