Default Any concern in getting a 2010 Is350C?

I am considering buying a 2010 Is350C. I am concerned that 2010 being the first year may have more issues that later ones. Would you owners care to share your thoughts?
Also, the differences on paper of 2010 model from the rest seem to be the missing LED on the outside and 10% worse gas mileage on the engine inside. (2010 specs 18/25mpg vs 2011-15 specs 20/27mpg). One is just cosmetic the other seems to be the underlining technology in the powertrain. Can you guys help me understand if the differences are real and significant? Thanks.

The powertrains are exactly the same from 2010-2015. I think you may be looking (accidentally) at IS350C vs IS250C mileage differences.

Year to year changes:
2015: Minor changes to Enform app suite and interior (organ accelerator design in non F-sport models)
2014: Minor metallic trim changes to F-sport interior
2013: F-sport trim added to lineup (note, this is different from the very expensive F-sport limited edition which was previously available in 2010/2011), HD radio and Enform 2.0 app system
2012: No changes
2011: LED daytime running headlights

Default Bad smell coming from the AC

I had the air cabin filter replaced to solve a bad smell, but no luck. It isn't a problem in the winter, but I really notice it in the summer. It smells like a moldy dish rag. I wonder if I need to have the whole AC changed to solve it. No one at Lexus has fixed it yet. I hope I can fix it soon. Something to ask about.

Svelt, I thought I was looking at the specs of different models too. Those were NOT typos or errors; they were Lexus published specs. You can google 2010 and 2011 IS350 specs online. In fact, there had been quite some discussion of the difference on this board six years ago but in the end nobody knew the answer. I wonder if the mystery was ever solved.

I just picked up a 2010 is 350 f sport build 92/100 with 45k miles. I upgraded from a 05 acura rsx type S, which sadly got totaled. I had a concern that the brake pedal was making a groaning noise. After replacing the pads, rotors and doing a brake flush the noise is gone. The service guy said the noise ended up being from the holes getting rusted in my rotors. My nav screen also shows some wear. I will try and post up pictures soon. This is my first Lexus and I am loving it!
