Mmmm...I wonder why mine doesn't have the folding blades??? It is definitely a Lexus screen. Has the Lexus bag and it folds just like everyone else's. I will take a picture

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I didn't do enough research and just bought a used windscreen not knowing I needed a kit to make it work. I've searched and the kit seems to be discontinued on lexuspartsnow and can't find it on ebay. Does anyone have a suggestion for where I might find one?

It looks like both the wind deflector and the fitting kit have been discontinued and I imagine will be difficult to pick up secondhand unless perhaps from a scrapped car.
The part number for the fitting kit is PT93353100WS
I still have a pair of the plastic trim plugs in beige as I used the black ones from my kit - the kit came with a set of both colours. If you can use these, come back to me and I can put them in the post if you don't mind waiting a few weeks.
I don't imagine that the two metal sleeves would be difficult to have made up so this may be the way to go.

Thanks @Beamish for your offer. I imagine the shipping from the UK is not cheap and I think I have found a source in the US for these parts.

While the PT933-53100-WS kit is no longer available, through much trial and error, I believe I have located the subcomponents of the kit:
PT933-53100-HW is described as "Wind Screen, Front Receiver Sleeves & Hardware" - I believe this is the metal sleeves and hopefully the bolts.
PT933-53100-10 are the plastic trim pieces in ivory. PT933-53100-02 are the same pieces in black if you happen to need those.
PT933-53100-HR are the under-headrest attachment pieces.

I have placed my order for these items at lexuspartsnow and will update this if any of my assumptions above turn out to be incorrect.

 

Unfortunately, even though Lexuspartsnow showed these parts in stock, they have now cancelled my order because they don't actually have any of these parts.

I'm now resorting to try to manufacture something that will work. Does anyone happen to know the thread size of the bolt that is used for the metal sleeves?

 

this link still works and it would appear that you need two 6 millimeter cap head bolts (Allen key head) to secure the tubes.

 

Thanks for posting this. After reviewing the parts they used I proceeded to make my own to install a used windscreen I picked up from a fellow member. I drilled out existing plugs after removing. Plugs are ID 17mm. Rubber nibs on WS pegs are 16mm so that’s perfect. I used some 5/8” (15.88mm) OD ss round bar, initial cut length 3”. Bored out to 13/32”, enough for a socket head M6 to slide down against a welded machine washer on the end. Washer sized for an M6x1mm bolt to fasten it to car frame. Knowing the windscreen pegs are beveled I countersunk the ends of the sleeves for better engagement. Final length of sleeve is 2.300” inches long. These are probably 1/8” long (when you notice how far out pins are) but they appear to sit inside the plugs where the OEM ones do in the pictures. Windscreen is solid once installed so I’m not worried. For the head rest blades I used some adhesive backed black neoprene foam to beef them up, they are nice and snug entering the gap in the headrest/ seat back. I applied it on the tapered edge of the swords - top and bottom, 1/4” thick. I’ve had the car up to 75mph and windscreen is rock solid. Makes a big difference!!
