miles per tire will be tire, driver, and condition dependant. I got a new set of pirelli tires when I bought mine.
when they run out, i'll just buy some cheap high performance all seasons from tire rack. Looks to be about $400 for a set of HPAS's off tirerack, even on the 18's
I ended up going with the Goodyear Eagle Sport AS which have a 25k tread life warranty. Total was $1150.00 at dealer. I only went with dealer because I still have 4 years on my Tire & Wheel Protection so I wanted to make sure that buying somewhere else didn't void that, else Tirerack would have been my first stop!
I replaced my OEM with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 about a year ago based on performance ratings and customer reviews on TireRack.com. So far so good and I drive a lot! The OEM Bridgestone Turanza tires were horrible and showed uneven wear as TomDac mentioned.
I don't believe I have ever gotten the mileage the tire is rated for... The dealers talk about how they give you a proration (doesn't seem to add up to much) but I still think the tread life given by the manuf. is wishful thinking.

on the Michelin mxm4 on other car I got literally exactly what manufacturer said
i have a is250c 2010 year which needs new tires. i dont drive much on this car so friends recommend Bridgestone POTENZA RE980AS from costco . these tires not expensive. need some advises. There are some michelin pilot sport a/s3 at Walmart but Walmart tire center are now closed because of Covid 19. Thanks
Hey all, just hitting 50,000 and needed new tires. I was very happy to find a new tire on the market, Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 -- supposed to be decent in light snow. I will report back after Winter hits. I previously has Michelin Sport A/S 3.
These Season 4's are "Designed to offer high levels of dry and wet traction, combined with confidence in inclement weather, the Pilot Sport All Season 4 aims to control the moment no matter the condition, even in light snow."
mine had a brand new set of pirelli P zeros when i bought it. nice tires but not what i would buy as they are very expensive. grip is great - I've never once triggered ABS and never skidded laterally, ever.
next set i buy will be sumitomo high performance all seasons. good balance of budget and quality
Just wanted to give my experience with tires, since I've gone through a lot!
1) Toyo Proxes 4S, came with the car when I got it. Developed a bubble on the sidewall seemingly out of nowhere and with a fair bit of tread left.
2) Continental DWS06: came with the car. No issues. Seems like a nice tire.
3) Conti Control Contact A/S: found at Discount Tire. Basically identical to DWS06. Nice tire.
4) Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+: nice tire. Lasted about 15 or 20k miles on the rear axle.
I can't say that I've had a really bad tire apart from maybe the Toyo Proxes. But then again I just stick with the major brands, like Michelin and Continental. I don't use anything with a treadwear lower than 500, which limits me to the ultra high performance all-season tires and grand touring tires.
So my IS250C has runflat tires, were they OEM? I think one of them may have a problem and I don't want to spend $700 on a pair for the rear. I have an appointment with discount tire tomorrow but I was wondering if I could put regular tires on the rear and keep the front run flat? The fronts are much newer and in better shape. This is a weekend cruising vehicle but I haven't put much mileage on it since I current have a loaner from Toyota for the fuel pump recall on my Tacoma.

It's quite possible that IS C came with runflats because of a smaller trunk. Just check your trunk for a jack, tools and the spare wheel, if you have those in then your car came with the regular tires.
Runflats are ripoffs anyway, they are loud, give harsher ride, side blow-outs are still possible and cost twice as much as regular tires.
Hello- I've read that the IS350c came with different width tires on the front and back. My 2012 that I recently purchased has 225 45 R18 on all 4 corners so i'm guessing I need to dismount all of them to make sure the 8" rims are up front and the 8.5" are in the back?!? Is it ok to leave this as is until I am need of tires and then go back to the 225 front 255 rear? Thanks

Jim
all ISC have front and rear staggered.
I had 225/255, and now I run 235/265 on my ISF BBS forged wheels
running 225 all around - handling is definitely compromised
