I saw a 250C in person at the NC Auto Expo yesterday.

Eh.

Just doesn't look right.

Guy said May/June on dealer lots, and 350C shortly thereafter, no pricing info given.

There was a press release of the IS-C's available colors.

Truffle Mica was not one of the options available...

Because an IS350C hasnt been announced(that I know of).

A lot of people also "always expected" and IS350 MT.
A lot of people also "always expected" a non convertible Coupe version of the IS.

The least they could've done was lower it for that show, that wheel gap is hideous.

Yea, that's about where I'm at with the ISC as well.

Sometimes it photographs well, sometimes not.

Yes I saw it in January, butt looks big, typical for a 4 seat retractable hardtop.

The car attracted a pretty good crowd at the San Jose car show, unlike the new RX which hardly anybody noticed.

I've actually known that the 350C was coming out about 2 months ago. Because I am pretty good friends with my salesperson. We went out to lunch 2 months ago and she said that she was going to get the 350C when it comes out.

100% agreed with fizzboy's comments. looks like a damn toyota solara up front. And no doubt, why is that thing jacked up high enough to take that car to a rock crawling competition??

I and many others here that I know surely do not expect a IS350 MT nor a non-convertible coupe, they are all just speculations from unofficial sources, plus there were a lot of people just posting that's the two configuration that they want, but there are never any indications whatsoever from Lexus that those two would be available.

OTOH, the IS350C is expected in the North American market because the IS350 sedan is available here, unlike in Europe, plus those who had contact with Lexus insiders already said here a few months ago that they know the IS350C will be available here, just like the sedan has always been, & it all make sense too.
In fact, this has been discussed before in a few threads on the IS-C a few months ago. So while there may not have been an official announcement, it was hardly a surprise at all.
