Although I'm not really going to get a car until 2011-12, I will probably get a 3rd gen IS or a SC430 instead of this thing if I stick with Lexus. SLK or maybe G convertible if I wanna go topless. I'm just not feeling it.
The proportions are just odd, as with most hardtop convertibles. they manage to lose any sort of design cohesion in general, like they grafted 2 cars together and got this thing.
And the rear seats? Really?

The exterior antenna on the rear passenger side REALLY surprises me..
Also, I see flipped placement of the rear seat belts... odd..
These wheels on the Convertible are better than the 2009 ISx50 current 18" wheel release.
However, again they missed the mark with the Asymmetrical and/or non directional wheel design found on these 2009 IS Models
The whole 3 section convertible hard top & trunk folding design is very BMW-ish ...
Again, Not to many options here when you make a 4 door into a 2 door convertible..

P.s. - Dr Phil, I agree 110% with your post, very well put!!!!
