Default IS Convertible waiting thread

Sold an A4 vert for the IS. I figure that in 2009 I will be in the market again for another car and after reading that A5 will have a soft-top I am eagerly awaiting the IS vert. No way I will pay for the premium $$ for a BMW when I drive 25,000 miles a year and need reliability.

The Volvo C70 is nice (almost considered over the IS, but was new and they wanted MSRP). Will see if the new next Saab is a hardtop (my A4 cloth top seperated from the window within 3 years).

Am I the only one that could care less about IS-F and am eager to read/see info about the vert?

Well I sold my S2000 for the IS, and am eagerly waiting to see it in production. I'd love to get into an IS vert.

To be competitive with BMW's upcoming hardtop convertible 3-Series, I can imagine that Lexus will try to put one out by early next year (Winter '08) as a MY09.

When I saw the title of this thread, I had in mind (spontaneous reaction), a Solara Convertible. If I get another Lexus in the future, I would love to have an IS convertible (I enjoyed a 90 325ic I once had).
