I've been looking at a 2011 Lexus IS350C.
Have the Carfax, most of it's life, well maintained, good service records. Only concern is that is was registered as a lease for the first two years of it's life, and during that time (0-35000km), it has no listed service at all on the Carfax report. What are the chances this means it went without oil and filter all that time? Assuming it did, is that a reason not to buy, assuming a Pre-Purchase inspection that looks ok?
If the first owner did his own oil changes or had the oil changed at a place that doesn't report service to Carfax, it will not be on the report. IMO, if there are service records after the first two years, I wouldn't be concerned.
You can also sign up for an account at drivers.lexus.com (it's free), put in the VIN, and it will tell you any service the car has had done at a Lexus dealership.

Many thanks.
If the car has been well maintained after those 2 years, I would test the car and buy it.
