Hard to decide: IS500 or 2023 300C
I can see a bit of validity in what everyone is saying. The entry level sport luxury vehicle (is, 3 series, A, and C class) has definitely been caught up to by the slightly larger sedans of the major manufacturers (Camry, accord, sonota, etc) in terms of interior. The entry level sports luxury has become somewhat of a compromise between performance and luxury in trying to retain affordability. If I were to be shopping for the 350, 330, A4... I might actually just consider a fully loaded sedan from Honda, Toyota, or the like... However, the 500, 340, S4 versions also have the performance.
But between the other sports luxury cars at ~60k, I'd say the Lexus still had the most liveable interior. I actually really like BMWs and almost went with a G20 340, but the leather felt hard and uncomfortable and the plastics felt kinda chinsy to me in comparison to the Lexus (and even to my older 328 I had before). In the end I think that's what swayed me as well as lower cost to maintain for long term ownership.

…and this is why I do not discuss quality with the family. They want the validation so badly, but I can’t give it to them. Push one button and the whole assembly moves… A few years in and I hear creaks and rattles throughout the cabin. It’s just not the same. 🤷🏽♂️
Lexus interiors will be dinged as ‘dated’, but no one…especially someone who has actually owned one…has uttered the word ‘cheap’. Hell…DeMuro damn near hates Lexus and he’s never said it! 😂

Both cars definitely have their flaws when it comes to the interiors, having spending time in both a 2022 Mopar product and 2022 Lexus IS, but it seems these folks are more convincing themselves out of one choice and want to be told they're right than actually wanting to hear actual opinions. Seriously, getting upset over the surfaces in a floor model at an auto show? Come on now lol
The options were weighed and the choice was made, this is ClubLEXUS after all. 🤭🤭
Cruise on over to the Mopar page and have a good day. I’m going back to the regularly scheduled programming… 😎
