To each their own, and like I said "as close to an F car" I know its not a true F car from the factory.

I guess I stirred up some emotions lol.

Unfortunately that is society today, especially online. Everyone is full of hate, insults, and extreme criticism. It's rare when somebody can be happy for somebody else! Hopefully they figure out how to be happy one day. Speaking of happy, I'd totally rock a V8 Camry lol! I guess I already am?

Everytime last week’s IG post of the IS F vs. the 500 comes across my feed, I laugh. The comments disparaging the 500 are so completely comical.

1. Pull most of those dudes aside and they’d GLADLY dump their IS F for the 500.

2. No one outside of the community has said the IS F is sexy…ever. (Caveat: Unless it’s in USB 1.0!) 😈😜

The 500 has a better look, ride, and (regardless of what YT says) is modern.

As a street car, for 98% of us, the FSP package is pitch perfect. In my opinion…
Refreshing to hear someone else say this. Before I bought the IS 500, I either read so many comments from IS F/RC F owners crapping on the IS 500, or saw so many people trying to build their IS 500 into the 3.5 IS F that never existed. I was trying to figure out if I wanted an LC 500, IS 500, RC F or GS F and I drove the car early on so I knew how it was to live with and... the "not an F" vibe is exactly what I loved. The IS 500 is an amazing blend of performance and every day livability and comfort: V8 + amazing ride quality, quiet interior, comfortable cabin space, great handling at 8/10ths, and A+++ reliability is exactly what works for me. I don't need 10/10ths performance, and if we're honest, Lexus isn't even who you'd go to if you wanted to buy something like that (See: BMW M Competition, etc).

Lots of love for the IS 500 exactly as it is.

Sometimes when you park a bit away it's fun to come back and see what randomly decided to park next to you.

JDM has to stick together.

it’s best to keep them separate. One thing I dislike is say if I search z06 on instagram and Honda accords pop up.

they paid for the F name so I’m ok with letting them be particular.

clpClegg a great brand of ceramic coat is Car Pro. Start out with a spray bottle of Reload. Its the up keep spray that keeps the finish/color popping. If you like it get it ceramic coated same mfg then the up keep willl be the reload. Great product with durability shine, does well over the ppf as well.

It’s soooo good! It’s everything I loved about both of my IS350s, just turned up a few notches.

I think it's safe to say that most of us are happy with the IS500 for what it is. BUT if they were to offer a full blown IS-F in this generation, I think a lot of us would jump at the chance to buy it, me included

That is so sleeper with the fender badge delete.

It looks more like a base 300 with the optional 19s than a F Sport 350 especially with the Silver 2022 Enkeis.

I did my ES with Car Pro ceramic. It was the hardest to apply, but did have some good durability. I just tried to new Cerakote professional ceramic and it went on pretty easily. So far it has EXCELLENT hydrophobic properties.

I would sure be tempted, but I like my low maintenance costs too. I would hate to do $1000 rotors/pads or something crazy like that every couple years.
