wireless carplay/android auto adapters...
I purchased one a few days ago. It’s inexpensive at $28 and thought I’d give it a try. If it didn’t work, I could return it back to Amazon. Well, I don’t think I’ll be returning it. It seems to connect quickly when I get into the car and sounds pretty good. Here’s the link: https://amzn.to/3KgIyYe
I bought an Ottocast Play2Video Ultra back in October. I have been in contact with Ottocast support for over six weeks now, trying to get the darn thing to work. After five weeks, Ottocast informed me that the unit was defective and that I should request a refund or replacement from the seller. I tried both the seller and eBay, and they both refused. Ottocast is also refusing to supply a refund or replacement. So I am stuck with a mon workable unit that Ottocast is not supporting. STAY AWAY FROM OTTOCAST

I've been using the Teeran CarPlay and Android adapters and they're rock solid. I tried a couple of other brands before I found this brand and they all had connection issues. Whatever Teeran is doing, they're doing it right.

I got an Ottocast a month or so ago. It certainly does not work seamlessly.
I had issues with it involuntarily toggling back and forth between music and podcasts which is more of a distraction than I want while driving. It was nice to have Waze on the touchscreen, but other than that it was more trouble than it was worth. It didn't take incredibly long for it to boot up when starting the car.
If anybody wants my Ottocast let me know as I have no use for it. I will stick with using the cord and foregoing the wireless options available.

If you are wanting solid, fast, and reliable wireless Android Auto option, this Motorola is in fact the best option. I've had mine over a year without any issues.
I primarily just listen to the radio or CD player in my car.
My wife has the first generation version of this that she uses in her RDX. It seems to cut out occasionally, we're not sure if it's an issue with her phone, the adapter, or her car. She had issues with the straight wired connection as well.
