Default GR Corolla Front Rotors

I've heard that our cars use the same front rotors as the GR Corrola. Can anyone here confirm that? GR rotors are much more affordable than Lexus ones and are slotted as well, so they could be an upgrade option if they fit.

The Corolla ones are very similar, but are slightly differently sized (thinner rotors, differing offset).

Jeff with the win!

I actually bought OEM rotors with the last sale since the other 2 piece rotors are too expensive. I think I got them for $270 each and free shipping from Bell Lexus.

I think DBA makes GS 350 rotors, but $700+ each. There are Racing Brake rotors too, but $1200+ for the pair. I almost bought the RB rotors, but never heard back about what pads will pair will their rotors.

Back when the 2013 GS 350 came out the 2-piece rotors were priced as standard rotors in Canada, and you could buy them for about $120 CAD ($90 USD) each. I kept meaning to buy a few just to have in case, but never did.

Now they are not as cheap.

also for the sake of fitment, & this goes for wheels as well... the is500 uses a 14x1.5 wheel bolt (thread/pitch) & the CGR uses a 12x1.5 which would also mean you would have to drill larger bolt holes in the rotor hat in order to adapt to the IS500 hub (assuming the other dimensions fit)

or you would have to convert to a 14x1.5 to 12x1.5 adapter stud to open up those fitment options

The bolt holes in the rotors are large enough to fit an M14x1.5 lug bolt, but they don't have the hole for the retention bolt, which would be annoying with lug bolts.
