This is what I am getting off of Tirerack.

Stock sizes might be the best way to go if one is running OEM wheels.

If you and DLPTony could take some pics next time you two link up, that would be a great PSA!

Yeah the Michelins I had on my IS 350 looked chunkier than these Continentals, so that seems to reflect the numbers.

I think I don't necessarily like one of these tires more than the other. The Continentals are somewhat less sporty, but definitely are firmer and more responsive than OE. The Michelins are very sharp and darty on turn-in, so they're more fun in some ways. However, I think the Continentals feel a bit more natural.

I know this is a dumb question but I am just curious. For those lowering your cars, is it mainly for handling or esthetics? I lowered the front of my RC 350 AWD back in 2019 because of teh uneven gap between the front and rear. In the case of the IS, I find the car has an even gap and the space around the fender is even. but when it's lowered, it almost closes the gap at the top of the tire, but creates a pronounced gap at the 9 and 3 o'clock position when looking at the car from the side.

RC and IS wheel wells are different. which is why you notice a difference.

do you think you’ll rub with spacers or has it already been confirmed by someone else?
