the tom’s filter is the only ‘mod’ i’ve done, it’s dry, and it works great. My intake (to me) is a little louder now.

Awesome. I am in the same boat. In fact, you might be able to see it in one of the photos I posted above (just behind the fuel door). I've got an appointment next week to get mine looked at! Hopefully it was just a dent - no paint damage?
