Rear Door Trim Defect?

I was chasing down a small buzz that turned out to be the rear passenger door panel that had popped off in the corner (just pushed it back and it clicked) when I found this:

...both corner trims show deformation like they were squeezed beyond their tolerance. They are identical on both sides.

Is this a factory defect that some of us have or for some wild reason the tint installer messed around with the panels at the back? It is easy to go unnoticed due to its location.

I'm reading that some tint installers have to remove the rear panels to get around the tweeters and do the full window for the IS models. My guess is the tint installer did a sloppy job - no surprise.

Thank you as well bud. Yeah it looks like the tint installer worked his magic on the corners...
