Lca bushing install
So I pulled the trigger on the RCF bushings for my IS500 and I am going to do the install myself as it looks to very simple. One question I do have is for the 22mm nut that holds the bushing onto the spindle as I have watched several videos and some say you need to have the car on the ground before you tighten this nut completely. For those that have done the install is this correct? Just want to make sure before I do the install over the winter. Also if I put spacers on my car as well when I take it for a alignment does everyone remove their spacers to get a more accurate alignment?
For rubber bushings you want the car sitting on all 4 wheels on level ground when tightening down the bushings.
Pretty much means you need a lift for this car.
I had to replace lower control arms(bushing) on a Mazda 3, and had a suspension shop to relax the bushings and re-torque them after I did the install.
