So I currently own a Quickjack 5000SLX used it in the past as I could raise my corvette with no issues. Sold the corvette and now own the IS500, unfortunately the Quickjack will not work with the IS500 due to the longer wheelbase and the pinch welds are too far apart. I could possibly run them passenger to driver side but not thinking I want to do that. My thoughts is to sell the Quickjack and buy the Rennstands does anyone have any experience with them?
I have no experience with the rennstands, having only seen a few guys using them at track events. I'd look into the frame extension for the quickjack. It essentially turns the TL into a TLX. The quickjack raises the car higher as well, 24" vs 17". Looking at it from a price and time point of view, the two extensions from quickjack should be about $400, while four Rennstands are about 900, and the quickjack raises and lowers the entire car much faster than having to jack up and position the stands. But I am lazy and that appeals to me.
Not sure if it's been confirmed before but the Quickjack 5000TLX fits perfectly. The rubber lift blocks need to be placed at the very end of the lift but it fits. Makes lifting the car much simpler.
I appreciate the update, I had the 5000SLX model and could not get to the jacking points on the car. This was an older model and from my understanding the new model has a higher lifting height which appears to add to the length of the jacking points. I liked the quick jack and was awesome at lifting the car, that was the positive and the only negative I thought was they were heavy and a pain in the a** to move around, not impossible but didn't look forward to using them to a point. I sold them and now have the jack point jack stands, I have not used them yet but look promising for ease of use. It also appears that I will be able to use on my RX350 as well so I will be able to lift both of my vehicles for tire rotations etc.
