I would say yes and more raspy because your almost going straight pipe from the cats. As I have it now normal driving its not bad. When you get to the 2500 rpm range freeway speeds. That's the range of noise/frequency I don't like. But cruising around town not bad.
I got the Apexi resonated midpipe and Borla axleback I now know what you mean about that 2500 rpm frequency. Did you notice it getting any better after the exhaust breaks in?

I may be a little late but I also have the borla axleback and I paired it with the gthaus midpipe, it sounds great, makes popping noises sometimes too I thought something might’ve been wrong with it at first lmao but it’s normal and sounds great if you haven’t already gotten your midpipe

Have you considered PPE? It's a true X pipe midpipe. Rather than the H pipes you see with Apexi. Someone can correct me, but GT Haus also does an H pipe X pipe looking midpipe?
