Rear Spring Upper Insulator Position

Rear Spring Upper Insulator Position
Just installed lowering springs and when I did the back left one, the spring shot out and the upper insulator came out with it and I just put it back in like normal without thinking about the position. Does the position matter as long as it’s aligned with the spring?
