Corporate finally called back and will cover the repair for $150. Taking it in today. Glad to get this resolved and looks like I will never be able to clean this lens again.

I would personally use a gas duster or GENTLE action with a Swiffer duster to clean it. Avoid spraying any liquid cleaners on it that will require drying.
