Decided to switch out the stock door puddle lights ... To projector lights. Just popped out the original, and installed the new. Looks great! The LEDs used are very white, and the blue ring around the "F" is nice.
The image is very crisp. Was reading thru the forum, and there was someone recommended. Price was right, the guy/vendor was very responsive, quickly shipped and showed up in the mail today. Bought a set for my Dad's 2022 F-Sport. His F-Sport is couldburst with circuit red interior. His will have a red band around the "F". Will look like this ...

I want this red surround the F sport logo, do you have the link or website where to buy them from? Thanks
I went to @leon_carbonfiber. Nice guy ... Very professional! Would use his services again.
Guessing elvin is another seller?
Yes Elvin is another seller on IG that sells the exact same stuff (elvin_6188). You will see him mentioned throughout the forums here. Also another cool dude and quick to respond and educate (good guy to ask about steering wheels and knows the difference between the 2014-2017 wheels and 2018-2020 wheels). How much were the lights? Curious since I was working with a manufacture for those lights but never bulked ordered since I didn't want like 20+ sets sitting around.

Thanks for letting me know about elvin. I will need to check out his page. I think these lights were $37 a pair.
Ah ok not too bad for the price and seems reasonable. Hopefully they are quality and the film doesn't crack after a year.
Agreed .. Time will tell. I tucked the originals away in case they don't hold up. The Lexus OE projectors are kinda expensive. Curious if anyone knows if there is any major differences between OE and aftermarket?

OE should be still incandescent bulbs and aftermarket are a mix of laser/LED projectors with a logo film over it to project the logo you desire. Most of the logo stuff I've seen and tried lasts less than a year and they are usually ~$30. I know the stuff Elvin sells are of more quality that lasts longer but I don't want to be spending so much on projector lights that no one sees until the evening and only I would see them if I were to open my doors. I've switched back to OEM lights since I didn't want the hassle of buying replacement lights to keep up that look. I could swap the LED bulbs I put in for brighter ones if I want but I'm not really into the super bright LED interior look.

Nice, I have those same ones. Had them in since June of last year and also swapped out the rest of my interior LEDs to white... still working fine with the image crisp as the day I installed them.
The other aftermarket ones that you find on eBay or Amazon are the cheaper quality ones where the projectors are made of plastic film that deteriorates over time and the image sharpness fades, eventually getting fuzzy or blurred. I've seen the last at most like several weeks. The ones you ordered from Leon are legit and are made of glass instead so should last for a much longer time. Can't speak to the OEM ones though.

Thanks for the reply! And good to hear you have been running them for a while with no issue. The reason you stated (glass vs plastic) is why I went with Leon's projector.
And that's my next project when the weather warms up .. To switch out the remaining incandescent lamps to LED. Could you share any info on the LEDs you selected?
I just ordered a set from Leon's blue line f sport.
As far as LEDs, I rock AuxBeam LED 6000k. I had it on my 2020 IS till I totaled that car and was still good and bought a set for my DHP. Good quality!
