Default How does vdim work on 3rd gen IS?

How is it different from a car with just regular traction/stability control.

Regular traction control usually only looks at wheel spin/slip and then applies the brakes to that wheel and/or cuts throttle.

VDIM just takes this a step further by combining multiple systems and sensors to factor in when determining the best course of action to keep the car stable. VDIM is basically abs, vsc, ebd, power steering, and trac control combined.

It’s a system that allows all these separate ecus to work together to provide stability and traction control, where as previous to VDIM these systems didn’t talk to each other necessarily and operated independently of each other.
