Default IS350 widest tires on stock wheels

Does anyone know the widest rear tire sizes that will fit the stock wheel for the IS350, I was thinking of going with 275/35/19 in the rear and 245/40/19 up front.

Thanks for your help!

Depends on what year is your IS, but if 2021+, those sizes would be the max according to the wheels width.

What wheels do you have that are 19s? Thats kinda important information for fitting tires.

If your wheels are 8.5in wide, the widest I would go is 265, tire shops usually won't install wider for safety reasons.

He mentioned stock wheels, so assuming a 2021+, they are 8.5 and 9.5.

Yeah, I wasn't sure which 19s, thought there were a few. If its 9.5, then 275s will be fine on the rear, you could even go 285/35.

I feel like you're getting into diminishing returns going that wide on the rear... just my personal opinion. You put some decent 275 tires on the rear, and you are going to hook no matter what. Even with the stock 265s, you have to be an animal to make it break traction in any significant way.
