Default AndroidAuto/Apple CarPlay Options

Hello Everyone,

I have a 2015 IS250 F-sport. Are There any aftermarket head units available for these cars? Crutchfield didn't show any compatibility beyond this: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_249CPL...Interface.html

Has anyone used that? Is it worth it? It would certainly be nice to have android auto available in the car.

Thansk!

I've had a Lexion unit with a 10.25" touchscreen for two years with no problems. Boots up quickly. Wired and wireless. Now comes in one unit rather than the two I have. Highly recommended. Someone will chime in with Reyn's email address for ordering should you go this route. I have a 16 200.

I just got around to installing a "binary unit", on my 2014 is350 w/ Nav non-ML
It's the Road Top model from aliexpress, https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255800476453854.html
I picked the one that's "with joystick"

Installed it just like the BeatSonic video.

Dip Switches I think I have them setup as 12 5. I was playing with them with the radio hooked up, the instructions aren't that great, and my joystick and buttons weren't working. Just fiddle with them until it's satisfactory before buttoning things up. I wish the cables were longer.

It works fine with my BeatSonic CS5EP front camera module as well. Helpful to have a RCA female female coupler if you have the front camera module setup. My camera stops working everytime I disconnect the battery, and in this case after I had everything unplugged.

So far I can make calls on it, I have it set to use the car's bluetooth, both on my phone and through the Roadtop menu.
I haven't tested receiving calls yet.
Set the Roadtop backup camera to use car camera
Set Roadtop EQ to normal
I have my car audio set on aux.
It automatically boots into wireless carplay

Tomorrow I'll drive around with it to see how google maps works with it

+1 , been using the previous hardware for almost 3 years now and it's good.
