Default Need Help

Hi guys... need help with something that I found disconnected. Last week, I sent the car to have the thermostat replaced and today while cleaning the engine bay to remove traces of coolant, i realized that the plastic "pipe" thingy that protrudes out from the ECM housing was not connected at all and I couldn't remember whether it should be even connected to anything. There is sort of a coupler on the radiator housing that fits like a glove, so i wriggled it back, but now am wondering whether that is the correct place to connect it back? I paste here some photos I took, if possible, members here can snap a pic of the same thing to allow me to compare? Should there be a hose clamp or something on it? Car is 2016 IS200t. Thanks guys...

Should these two be connected?

The top part was left not connected to anything, so I just slot it into the protruding thing on the radiator housing.

Connected both.. please share a snap of this part if possible..
