Default F Sport cluster in a base model

I found this thread, but it's closed:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-model-is.html

Just to be clear, it has to be the same year and model, but can a USDM cluster work on a CDN model?

And can the dealer program the correct mileage?

I forgot when the gauge cluster changed, maybe in 2017 refresh? But the more important thing idea of the cluster is that it comes from the same engine spec (6 speed vs 8 speed) and whether the car has lane change assist and radar cruise control. USD vs Canada doesn't matter, I'm pretty sure. I asked my dealer if they could and they said no. I paid someone from NY to match mine.

I have a 2017 IS200T base model and it's got the lane change assist and radar cruise control.
I'm assuming this is standard on all the 2017 models.

Onto finding one now, this seems to be the hard part.

Did they have to take it apart to change the mileage or it's a flash?

Thanks again!

Your best bet is to stick with same year or just same model (I believe IS300 also has the 4 cylinder turbo, but you have to double check since some of them have the 3.5L as well). Use car-part.com or eBay.

The person who did it for me took the glass off and I believe needed access to the board on the back. I believe he just flashed it with his program / device but needed to physically open the cluster to access it. You can google Odometer change / fixing services near you and ask. Guy charged me $150 to do it.

I'll stick to 2017, I think in 2018 it got renamed to IS300 RWD over here.

Theirs none on eBay right now, I'll check the other side you mentioned.

Thanks again!

No prob, make sure you order a new glass / plastic for the cluster. Mine came heavily scratched and I bought a new one for it and it looks beautiful. Great upgrade, it never gets old, beautiful cluster

If it wasn't for the color (Eminent white) I would have just gotten an F Sport from the start, that cluster alone is worth it haha!
