Default Catalytic converter

Hi all,

I drive a 141 IS300h f sport and i am wondering where the catalytiic converter is under the car and are they easy to be robbed. There has been 2 cars in work that has there's robbed and a few around the estate so im a bit concerned now. I read a few years ago that thee tucked in under the engine bay close to the manifold so not easy to take but not sure how reliable that information is. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Wayne.

Never heard of someone stealing an IS's catalytic converter. It's a low, heavy car. They usually do it to Prius's or the F150

Not sure about the IS300H, but the 350 model's cat is on the headers which is not accessible from under the vehicle. There are secondary cats near the middle of the underside, but they're tucked away and not worth as much, so probably not a temptation for thieves.
