^^ I hear ya, what I was suggesting is that I heard that some suggest that the alignment goes with a slight change in the toe in than is recommended to address this issue - Not sure if others could chime - Sasnuke, ever heard such a suggestion?

That was me suggesting the toe-in. The idea would be to compensate for the toe-out caused by braking and/or hard cornering. It seemed to work well for my second set of tires, which didn't have significant inner wear even after 16,000+ miles. The inner parts of the front tires were, at worst, 1/64" worse than the outside parts.

With respect to alignment, any additional toe-out caused by hitting a pothole, etc. will exacerbate the inner wear issue. So it is important to check alignment occasionally.

^^ my dealer had also made a similar suggestion. My apologies, I hadn't recalled you stating that toe so I will give you the proper credit my friend
