Wassup Y’all, I have a 2016 Lexus Is200t and recently came across this weird noise coming the passenger side engine compartment. I noticed it’s the vacuum switching valve that’s making a rattling noise, is there a TSB or recall for it? Or any other information as to why it rattles? Does it need to rattle? Etc…thanks !

 

No, it shouldn't rattle or buzz. I had mine replaced 3 times under warranty for my '16 200t. Third time they replaced it with the updated longer hoses. I haven't had any issues since.

 

And yes there is a TSB for it.
