Default Mod Middle Silver Trim with RC pieces- Squeaking

Hello,

I have an issue with the silver trim around the center console on my '17 3is. Took it in for service and looks like Lexus is not willing to replace the two pieces even under warranty because it requires them to order in the entire center console.

I have been looking online to replace the pieces because they are pretty cheap on ebay. However, I was looking at the ones on the RC and they look a lot cleaner. I am wondering if anyone has tried to replace the 3is silver trim from the RC?

Which silver pieces? The ones you picture are black vinyl?

Either way, easy. De-squeak them yourself by removing them and inspecting any joints, fasteners, contact points etc and insulate with insulating tape (or any kind of felt tape) and voila. Super easy.

Anything you buy from another Lexus model is just going to squeak again. So you need to do this process anyway.
