it would not look good at all. i've never seen a car wrapped like that or even painted. if you want to wrap the pillars, you might as well wrap the whole car

Something like the wrap on this orange Corvette? Where the entire upper portion is blacked out? I've typically seen this done on wagons and SUVs... but I don't recall seeing such a thing done to a sedan. First thing that came to mind when reading the post was the old Cadillacs that had leather wrapped roofs. Lol
If you or a friend have access to something like photoshop, I'd play around with the idea digitally before experimenting on the car itself.
I dig a black roof, but would be a hard pass for me on the pillars. Would take away from the whole contrast aspect of things and make it look tacky... at least to me.
