Default Steering wheel "extender" somehow??

Hey everyone! Is it possible, or has anyone found a way/ modified the steering wheel to bring the wheel further back? Sometimes i need to stretch my legs by bringing the seat back, but the wheel forces me to stay fairly close since the wheel doesn't come back very far. Not sure if it matters, but my steering wheel isnt electronically adjusted, its just the little lever you pull and push back in place once adjusted.

Spacer Shop – Spacer Shop by DDM

Zero experience with them, but I'd imagine you'd need something really custom.

Hmm yeah, its a nice idea but they dont have any listed for the 3IS. I emailed the USA dealer to see if theyd be able to help. They are expensive though wow! Like 270-300$ but at least it isnt a cheaply made spacer.

One consideration is extending the wires too...for the controls on the wheel, but more importantly, the Airbag.
Realistically the absolute last thing you want to do is modify or extend Airbag wires...anything could happen from it not deploying when intended, or worse, deploying when not intended.
