Default subwoofer install in non-ml car. is it easy?

hi everyone,
i was just wondering if it is easy to install a sub in an IS350 without ML. I am looking at purchasing a 2016 one but it doesnt have the ML sound system so i was wondering if a sub install is possible. Would i be able to use the existing amp or would i need a separate one? or perhaps could the standard subwoofer be replaced for a better one?
Thanks for your help guys

I used a separate amp and had someone at Best Buy install it for $110. I don't think the OEM amp is enough to power an aftermarket sub.

I installed a powered subwoofer. Rockford fosgate p500-12p with their recommended wiring kit. There is a thread on here that gives you the four wires you need from the amp. They are the four rear speaker wires and they are color coded and all right next to each other. I think I used t taps to tap into those 4 wires and then I had to do a little bit of soldering to lengthen the wires to the sub so I could have it up against the back seat.

here is the guide I followed
