Default Rear shock strut replacement?

Saw this on my rear shock strut yesterday. It looks to be leaking. Any ideas on replacement cost? Any OEM or what brand/part numbers to replace? This is a 2015 250 F Sport. RWD

Yep, she’s leaking.
I used KYB rear shocks on my 2014 IS350 non-F last year when I saw the same leaking on mine. Got them from RockAuto, better price than OEM. Car feels the same.

Thanks @kj07xk. How was the replacement? Any DIY write ups or tips you can share please? Very few mechanics I trust around here.

The rear shocks aren't too bad to replace at all. The bottom is an easily accessible 19mm bolt. The top you'll need to pull apart the trim in the truck to access the nut.

This video should be helpful. He's installing coilovers, so ignore the stuff about the springs and just worry about the bolt/nut locations. You shouldn't have to worry about taking anything apart in the back suspension. The shocks should compress with a bit of muscle. :

As for parts... It's a good time to decide if you want to upgrade. But if not, OEM works great, but the cheaper options will get you on the road.

Pretty simple, and the only tip is something I saw in a video, and that is removing the luggage tie downs in the trunk. There’s a plastic flap in the tie down that needs to be lifted to access a bolt holding the tie down to the floor. Sure you can find it in a video.
