I’ve never seen my plate in the camera. Either the camera was adjusted somehow, or they move your plate?

I can partially see my plate too, it's normal.. you probably didn't notice it before.. you're still getting an excellent, wide view

Depends what year IS you have.
I have a 2014 and don't see my plate and my guide lines look different...different colors/orientation that the pic from the OP.
The camera was changed in 2017, so I can only assume they used that camera until 2020...OP has a 2019.
The 2014-16 should all be the same camera.

This is mine

I have a 2019 as well, seems normal to me. Notice the distortion of the license plate, this is a wide angle view if I'm not mistaken.

Multiple people have shown you that your camera is normal... My 2020 shows my rear plate as well.

Please don't go back to the dealer ship for non essential services while we're still in a lock down.

I think from all the pics posted on the thread is conclusive the camera image is normal...however if you'd like to take the vehicle to the dealer to confirm then that certainly is your right. I would be prepared for the fact they will tell you it's normal.
There is no way to adjust the camera as it simply bolts to the trunk lid. Consider where the camera is located...under the trim panel that houses the license plate lights, so it's not like it's out in the open for something to happen to it.
Also there is no service that involves the camera.
If you do take it to the dealer, also be prepared to point out what is wrong with the camera image, as they will need something to address.

OP, go to carmax.com and look up Lexus IS. They typically include a shot of the backup camera image in their pictures. I think you'll find that backup camera image is pretty much universal to include the bumper and license plate.

The 2020 model above's backup camera image is the same view as everyone else's on this thread. Don't know what else to say, it looks normal.

Ok I guess getting a part/function of the vehicle adjusted or fixed after it was serviced by them is not important
so i will not bother getting the car looked at thank you.
