I recently purchased a 2016 IS 350 and find that there is a film installed inside the front windshield because there is a small tear in the corner. Is this a factory installed option or aftermarket part, and can it be removed or replaced?

 

Aftermarket. Yes, use steam - it can be removed and replaced.

We have Llumar 50% on our front windshield.
