recently, i broke the shark fin by just clipping it while backing up into the garage door too fast, the whole module broke. I was wondering what that module does, because i turned on the radio and it worked fine, what purpose does that part have?


also i am looking on ebay, i and found a used module, does it matter if that antenna came off of a f sport while i have the base model?

 

It's for sat radio iirc, the FM radio ant is built into the bottom of the front windshield.

 

The shark fins are all the same, F Sport or not.
