Default LSD for 2014 IS350

I was wondering if there has yet to be an aftermarket option offered for a 2014 IS350 LSD. My biggest question would be; will a used 2018 IS350 LSD bolt directly in? If not what aftermarket options are available. Most threads involving this topic are outdated and don’t provide many 2020 options. I know there are options for a 2IS but nit for a 3IS. Sucks they started putting them on 2018+ IS350’s

What are your goals for this car? I'm assuming you're tracking it, otherwise you won't benefit much from a limited slip. Check out RR Racing, they are a LSD option, expensive but it's supposedly stronger and has a few trick parts that the factory diff doesn't. Also, Im not sure if the 2018+ factory diffs are electronically controlled, if so it would be a big job trying to figure out wiring and computer.

I am coming from being a long time G37 owner. Had 3 and im used to at least a VLSD. The 2018 IS350 is a torsion not electronic. Just curious if the mounting points are the same. Auto cross is my main thing. Hate the one wheel peel.
thankyou for the feedback. The older threads don’t have much to go on. The lack of a
LSD is my main regret from jumping ship. That and loosing 50HP. (Had a tune and full exhaust on my last G)
I’ve got a 2014 3IS and all the aftermarket stuff is for 2IS 2006-2013.

I am unaware of any aftermarket 3IS LSD. Only to go option is 2018+ 3IS LSD. Someone on the forum has discussed this topic in the past. The consensus is direct swap. Again it's rare to find one from wreck. New is to expensive to make it worthwhile. Unfortunately there is not a lot of aftermarket support for 3IS. Majority of the owner don't track their car and there isn't huge demand to make it silly for aftermarket company to make one. People buy Lexus IS for comfort, reliability and Abit of fun sporty handling. Unlike Nissan/infiniti G37 is more driver focused. Your better off to stick with G37 it more performance orientated than Lexus.

Driftopher - an LSD will help out immensely in normal driving situations; it will minimize/eliminate TC intervention in the dry, improve traction & acceleration in the wet/snow/gravel/dirt. An LSD is especially useful if you're like me and turn off the nannies every time you get in the car.
My IS350 is the first vehicle I've ever owned without a mechanical LSD, and I miss it every time I put my foot on the pedal; I'm personally trying to source a used OEM unit.
Mechanical Diffs are proactive, meaning they are doing the work before you need it, they are far more predictable and consistent; where TC is reactive, meaning it only does the work when a wheel speed sensor gives a certain value, and it always upsets the car.

To 4Infiniti - assuming RWD w/3.133 ratio; the 2018+ F-sport IS350 models came with them, the RC350 F-sport models had an LSD as an option as well and it should bolt right in as it's the same part number; not every RC350 F-sport has them though so be careful when sourcing a used unit.
